"The President gave me a chance when I needed a job after coming here to Washington. He understood my experience and trusted it."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"No. I was lucky to interview with the president (who is now gone)We should all be so lucky to interview with someone who is interested in the company and the project----not just his own ego."

What don't you like about working at AMEC?

"I worked for a Project Manager who wasn't very good. Never walked the site' and didn't support me when I had conflicts with the A/E over their design."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None really. They operated like most CM firms; they have a heavy turnover (everyone seems to be waiting to get out). A few are long termers if they are willing to move around the country."
