"Amec recently merged with Foster Wheeler and the resulting hybrid is yet to be proven. So far, Amec has been a safety-first, good corporate citizen. As far as listening to their employees, they are likely only average. There have been a number of initiatives over the years that have had good intentions and likely had a positive effect, but they come and go. In the last few years, they have made a number of changes to benefits that have had a negative impact on morale. The current downturn in the natural resources industries has also caused some painful belt-tightening. Hopefully this will loosen up soon."
