"They are not as organized in hierarchy and documentation as it was in Texas Instruments."

"Having teams meetings to discuss everyones work and initiatives taken personally, hence enhancing more co-ordination and teamwork."

"I was able to use my skills best with freedom of decision. I was very well respected and involved in major decision making."

"Amadeus U.S. is a subsidiary of European owners. We were sometimes impacted by initiatives that were considered old in the US market. The US market is ahead on business trends and convincing the multicutural head executives was challenging."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listen to the frontline in a democratic environment. However, depending on circumstances, at times an autocratic approach is necessary. Nonetheless, it is important to make employees feel that their contribution is important as well as listening to their opinions. It is very important that management keeps a pulse on the culture of the company."
