"The organization has a passion and commitment to the aged with the disease and its families. The culture would be even better if they would have that same mindset towards its employees. Day center is great with the right team but unfortunately mine was toxic, complained all the time, we're catty and the focus was taken from what truly mattered. Being a nurse meant being a paper pusher, a marketer and responding to emails, emails and more emails. I dreaded going to work and the work life balance was hard to achieve as they abuse salary employees, it seems. Worst job I ever had."

"When I interviewed at Alzheimer's CC and then received an offer, the Human Resource Director confided in me it was because I was the only one who sent a thank you letter for the interview."

What don't you like about working at Alzheimers Community Care?

"I would have liked more interaction with the patients."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They have great people working for them. Some of the hourly employees felt they were being watched too closley when it came to arrival and departure time. Management, I feel, should go easier--they are trustworthy, dependable, hard working people."
