"I worked at Altec from December 2019 through the COVID-19 pandemic. As a contract Engineer in New Product Development, I was immediately brought in and treated like a direct hire and operated as one. Worked with several different departments to develop new designs and conducted Continuous Improvement Changes on products based on issues determined in the field. The Engineering Cell I worked in was constantly bouncing ideas off each other as well as having their work reviewed by each other to have the drawings meet an Internal Standard so that the floor staff could easily understand and see the design goals and not have each component seem like it was designed in a vacuum to the other components in the assembly."
