"If you have a family that you love, if you enjoy getting good rest at night, if you like being treated with dignity, if you don't like being lied to, if you like the idea of having a future, if you enjoy not being stressed out, then turn around and leave right now!!!"

What don't you like about working at Allstate Insurance Company?

"The work load was extremely overbearing. The people picked for advancement were from the same crop.The raise that I was given didn't make a dent in my account. Next-Gen is the worst windows based system I ever worked. The people who had the best numbers did some of the most unethical things I've ever seen in a corporation. (I gotta look in the mirror at night). Out of 93 people in the office where I worked, there were only 6 black males.There were no blacks in management at all.They did not teach me how to be an adjuster. The only thing I was trained on was the 8-9 step and then I was basically thrown to the dogs. I was handling people's claims and I really did not know what I was doing (initially)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Teach people how to be adjusters and stop letting their peers do your work. Stop looking at numbers and look at claims. Use fairness when you promote and stop using favoritism and nepotism. Make the adjusters feel like part of the team instead of peons."
