"I'm currently a commercial lines account Manager with Alliant's oil & gas program. I service a $10 million book of retail business. Alliant is a nationwide company and has great work ethics and values. My office is a remote office with about 7 people, 2 of which are on the retail side. Business is growing and the program is currently investing in growing the wholesale side. Retail employees are exempt employees. The clerical help is limited and outsourced to China. This can be both positive in regards to timing and negative in regards to communication barriers (direction, terminology, email only). At this time the retail budget is limited, which affects the resources and limits any potential growth within the company."
