"It is a great company with amazing culture and opportunities for growth"
"I've worked for AllianceBernstein since January 2019. The firm believes strongly in its fiduciary responsibility towards their clients and encourages all employees to adopt this mindset. They put the health and safety of their employees first and offer scheduling flexibility when needed. AllianceBernstein offers a competitive pay scale and benefits."
"I’ve worked there for 8 months. Pretty good company. Opportunities to learn. But no flexibility in work. Follows the old methodology."
"Progressive company that is willing to invest in its new hires."
"Working at AllianceBernstein over the past summer has been a fantastic experience. Since it just moved its headquarters from New York to Nashville, it inherently feels like a new startup despite being an established asset management firm on Wall Street. As a software developer intern, not only did I work on consequential projects, but was also treated with respect like a full-time employee."
"I've worked for Alliance Bernstein since 2011 and I am still a contractor. I have a great relationship with my supervisor and coworkers but the only way for me to move up is to move locations or find another job."
"AB as a company is a decent place to work for"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"HR look for people whose positive personality will reflect during the interview process."
What don't you like about working at AllianceBernstein?
"Administrative Services/Facilities is reeking of blatant favoritism. The person who managed this department has a small coterie of favorites, who are at best are imcompetent employees, who have been rewarded with plum positions based on their relationship with her. Other staff who have lodged complaints to HR and the Ombudsman against these favorites have been subjected to retaliation. Most have left the company, relocated, fired or often laid off. Morale is very low. Career rewards are based on who she likes and not on job competency. The AllianceBernstein PMP is looked at as a big joke by majority of the employees in this department. An embarassing example of this management's practice of rewarding favorites is a Vice President who has had several positions created specifically for him. This was the result of his poor performances and have been the subject of numerous complaints for staff that have been assigned under him. Other effectively run department would have had him fired or at best demoted but instead he was promoted, cuddled and protected. Even Placement agencies have refused to place potential hires under his management. If you perceive of a quintessential ,political ,back stabbing, incompetent worker this person embodies those."
What suggestions do you have for management?
