Working at Alliance Residential Co. in Denver, CO: 1 Employee Reviews

Alliance Residential Co. Employee

"Overall, Alliance Residential is a good starting company. I began employment over two years ago and it has been a professional work environment with typically good pay for what we are expected to do. I do not have any intention of staying with the company long term as I have other career goals in which I am attending school for while working for the company. The most important aspect in this industry, and also what I have run into the most problems with, is management and having a good team in general. While a few of the managers I've worked with have been supportive, helpful, and listen to what me and my co-workers have to say, others have been lazy, unsupportive, unwilling to help, and constantly leaving early or showing up late. The latter also seems to go unseen or ignored by regional management. For quite some time, I worked with a team in which the assistant and business manager had their own "clique" and myself and other associates were left out of the loop and felt out of place. They also often refused to take calls or help with resident issues and had a few random days of absence without explanation. For a property to be successful, everyone working there needs to be a team, no exceptions. I will mention to be careful if you are needing flexibility in your hours. Not all managers will be willing to work with you if you have class, or will only do so reluctantly, making you feel like you are inconveniencing everyone by going to school. Alliance may be good for some people long term, it just depends who you are! This industry is tough, but someone has to do it!"
