What don't you like about working at Allen & Overy?

"The company encourages and rewards the do as I say, not as I do mentality. What is good for one set of persons, is quite different for those that matter - fee earners. In my department, due to incompetent management, department morale was (and is, from what I still hear) at its lowest... and keeps sinking."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None for the immediate management... however, for management right above them: Get rid of this manager! Quickly! The department needs real management with technical savvy and expertise in the types of projects handled by the few remaining staff members left. They must salvage the little dignity left in that workforce."
