"I have worked as a system engineer for Allegro MicroSystems since 2011. The company is manufacturing Hall-based sensor ICs for speed and position sensing in automotive and non-automotive applications. The continuous releases of new ICs kept me busy for silicon evaluation/testing and customer support for applications and problem-solving. People are very nice and collaborative to achieve goals."

"too many projects going on at once. not enough staff in the right technical areas."

"less high level oversight of projects and procedures, management should spend less time defining and more time doing"

"No career path, non interesting work. Management team has no previous work experience at any other company."

"Develop program management tools for managing spec changes and reporting device bugs."

"One of the worst companies I worked for; the people were extremely insular. To work effectively with those people you had to have your family living locally for generations."

"It's a good place to work, but when you feel like you are no longer learning and things start being repetitive, consider moving on."

"Some duties became repetitive, and opportunities to learn new skills and knowledge were few and far."

"It has very open communications and sharing of design resources. Strong team work."

"It was a long drive from home (approx. 1.5hours each way); but later on I was able to work from home so it was not a big problem."
