"Family oriented construction side of the company. Everyone worked together and helped one another."
"I came in with sitting down with 3 individuals who sold me on the idea of leaving my previous company of several years. I was quickly put on the back burner and taken a step back from what I was doing to take over a failing job with little to no knowledge of scope of work to be done. It was quickly apparent to me I was on my own to deal with it myself. That part was not the issue. I was then dealing with a sub that had no reason being there due to lack of ability and general how to knowledge. When I spoke up for a helping hand I was told that "we were stuck with him and I would have to figure it out." That led to me cleaning up their mess and inevitably having to do the work for him just to ease my mind. This job was in Gainesville, I live in Jacksonville. I drove to and from everyday in a company truck at least but still a toll. I then learned that they wanted me to relocate to Panama City for upwards of 2 months. One of the very first things we discussed is that I would not travel in that capacity. They didn't seem to care and left me with just that option. I ended up turning in my notice and I have since vacated the position I had with the company. I left speaking with everyone and staying positive which is still the case today. I just don't feel like I was led down the path of our original discussions."
