"The people you work along side with are mostly good hard working people. Working long hours together under poor conditions is great for team building."

"If they won't give you their policy on work/life balance and compensation in writing, run."

What don't you like about working at Alexander Proudfoot?

"Senior leadership very self serving and lacks self awareness of their short comings. Extremely high expectations in terms of hours and travel but the pay is marginal. Raises are non-existent unless you have a bargaining chip. If your project ends and there is no work, you are let go immediately. Might as well work for yourself. Bonus structure is all or nothing. Potentially you could work long and hard but never see a dime in bonus for something beyond your direct control. Meanwhile, they still get their full fee."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Execute on a vision that is good for the many and not just the few. Stop hiding behind so called touted 'work-life balance' as a tool for drawing new hires in only to tout 'project comes first' for the reason why you won't get it later."
