"I work as a contractor in the Oil and Gas industry. As a Lvl 3 rope access supervisor, I am responsible for the lives of my crew. We are often on an unmanned platform in the middle of the ocean with only a radio to communicate with the base platform. We work 12 to 18 hour days on the ropes performing various types of inspection and maintenance and are required to be self sufficient for weeks at a time. I feel it’s time for a change and would like to work on land be close to the family."
