"ASC realized it needed to improve and was open to changes. There were very little limitations (except financial) on how or where you could implement ideas."

"ASC Corp office was still mired in traditional operatives. Instead of supporting the mfg plants, the plants were treated as their underlings / inferiors, especially the border ops."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"More communication with & within senior staff; less petty & punitive directives by plant staff; more employee empowerment and sincere recognition of individual efforts. Do not overwhelm staff - balance - if company goals are met by 150%, ease off. Staff should be managed, not driven."
