"I chose to work at AdvocatePR Ltd. as I saw it as a great opportunity to expand my skills and to grow with a company that was dedicated to expanding into other areas outside of legal. The company had just brought in a private equity company in December 2018 to invest in technology and to invest in bringing the platform to other areas including real estate and finance. My role was to bring in a larger enterprise sale and to develop sales best practices. Eventually, I would expand my sales management role and build out teams and sales for the proposed new product offerings. Unfortunately, the Founder/President of the company had a dispute with the private equity firm and the company shut down November 18, 2019. That said, this was an extremely valuable experience and I learned a great deal with respect to start-up business cultures."
