Advocate Aurora Employee

"I worked for Aurora for about 5 years. In my 5 years working for this company I experienced high Rn turn over and an extremely negative work environment. The Rns were told to delegate duties to Medical assistants which meant they did a lot of things Rns felt they were too good or too busy to do. Which most time they were not. On top of rooming 20+ patients daily, we had to help the nurses because most of the time they were new to the practice and sent things to the medical assistants because they were for the lost partnunsure how to handle the problem. The doctors were all good. Working hard to help Rns and rooming and don’t forget about chart checking, because the nurses don’t help with that. The medical assistant’s are underpaid and undervalued. The supervisors are constantly reminding you to not forget about doing your goals so that you can get that .30 cent raise. Look at Froedtert they pay far better and the benefits cost less and cover more. Don’t waste your time at Advocate Aurora. You are expendable. I was accused of doing something that I did not do any was let go from the company. They told me my job was under review and left me out of the loop for 3 weeks in the status of my job. Not to mention they did not give me my accrued vacation time. I have a better job now and am amazed. This is how a medical group should be like. Sayonara Advocate Aurora pay better wages because you employees deserve better."
