"Interesting products and demanding customere - most electric golf carts used our motors. Also produced oil sump motors for use in Diesel Train Engines - highest quality demanded since failures were very costly to repair. Wind Turbine Blade attitude control motors were latest product, also made electric motors for experimental cars."

"Exhibit interest and maximum of self confidence. Press them for pay and relo: they seem to expect it. Their offer may be lower than they are really ready to pay."
What don't you like about working at Advanced Motors & Drives?
"President was a skilled EE, but very emotional - caused some confusion for me and my subordinates."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Stay more formal in communications, keep emotionalism to a minimum. Need more professionaloism in Marketing and Order Entry/Management"

"End users of the products, DC motors, are varied and demanding. Wind Turbines, Fork Lifts, Scissor Lifts, utility vehicles and golf cars touch many lives."

"Be assertive and cooperative at the same time. This was a team oriented business when I was with them."

"They were at a pivotal point in developing competitive AC products, therefore failing to meet or beat the competition could mean dramatic cuts in sales."

"Buy an AC motor company to get a foot in the door and acquire necessary engineering talent."
