"It was a fun job, mixing many different/disparate technologies, with the occasional trip to the shooting range."

"Ask about their financials, and listen carefully. Be prepared to accept missed payrolls."

What don't you like about working at Advanced Interactive Systems?

"The management lost the vision, and as a result they lost customers and were declining. The started by asking for volunteers to accept a temporary 50% paycut, which I accepted. 4 months later we were assured that all was well and pay was restored, since then they continued to miss payrolls (with some engineers deciding to quit due to the unreliability of paychecks) I stayed on, but the business continued downhill. At the end they were in such trouble that they couldn't make payroll yet again, and could no longer afford my services."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There is one VP in particular that is messing AIS up, if this person was removed as a decision maker in this company it would go a long way towards enabling them to regaining the vision they once had."
