What do you like about working at University of Miami?
"The interaction with scientists, the ability to contribute to an educational environment, and the opportunity to obtain a Master's degree in marine affairs (environmental anthropology)."
What don't you like about working at University of Miami?
"Changes in administrationl; the politics and dissension among the various scientific disciplines at the school; the lack of ability to advance and be recognized; the inherent lack of stimulation with a job below my skill level and intellectual abilities."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None. The problems are inherent in any academic institution and dependent on the vision and leadership (or lack thereof) of particular Deans and Provosts."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Yes, the company is good, however the board of members make a lot of decisions that sometimes are not the best for the chapter in relation to new ideas."

"The Branch Manager was horrid to work for. He knew nothing and would not follow federally mandated guidelines, would just do what it took regardless of the consequences.He was rude, disrespectful and derogatory to his employees and likened them to Field Laborers. He also stated flat out it was his choice to be nicer to other employees then some,"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get rid of this guy..he's going to get you sued"

"I am a very a determined and driven to succeed type of employee. If given the opportunity, I will do my best to execute my task."
What do you like about working at C & D AeroSpace?
"It was great to start my experience with the company. I started my administrative work with this company. I learned the ups and downs, but as in life there's always ups and downs. It's how you over come the downs...There's plenty of room for the ups. What do I like about the company This company gave me my first coorporate job. Yes, they gave me the opportunity to become a part of their team. That's what I like about the company. Every experience and work skills I picked up on my own."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Yes, please do not over look a persons talent to be a part of their company if certain or some requirements are met. Do give the opportunity to prove themselves before turning away any potential employee. If lacking one or two requirements, lack of experience can be trained."
What don't you like about working at C & D AeroSpace?
"I disliked the fact that the yearly evaluatilon/raise was not fair toward certain individual suoch as myself was not rewarded as it should. My hard work and dedication meant nothing to them. I didn't appreciate that I was not taken care of as I deserved. My salary should have been at least $35k not less than $26K per year."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Please be open minded and do give the opportunity at least for an interview before turning down a resume just because of judgement due to lack of experience on paper that they are looking for. Most people are more skilled and cappable than what is not recognized on paper or any degree. Just one chance to present ourselves infront of management is all anyone can ask for."

"to position everyone's mind by focus on the vision and mission statement of the organization"

"Try to be more understand about your employee's that work for you and the company."

"Keep the employees you have working and let them transfer to other sites, stop using local employees just because they may work for a lower pay rate. Use the experienced people you have."

"I really enjoyed working with the staff as well as with the students. I also enjoyed have the responsibilities that were given to me."

"Appreciate the staff that works for you. Management wise... corporate was excellent. Now that I look back I should of never left."
