"It was a good company to work for except for the size of the company. Sometimes you felt like a number but sometimes you did not. It all depends on your direct manager and their upper managers. Overall I was pleased with the company until COVID19 hit the country."

"I worked for Acuity Brands for over a decade. In most respects, it's a good company to work for. Senior leadership has a lot of the right ideas. Those good ideas don't always play out well on the ground and morale is not always great. The ideas of continuous improvement sometimes work, but sometimes the result is attempting too much change too fast and leaving the employees behind. This results in frequent reductions in force."
