"The team inspired environment was excellent. Not only was it fun to work on video games but the people were great as well."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"sure. It's usually a group interview and they give you a pre alpha build to test. Stay sharp and pay attention and you'll pass the interview."

What don't you like about working at Activision?

"As mentioned the job security is very fragile. Once a project is over you are worried if there will be another one available to you. Sooner or later there isn't one and you are let go."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I understand it's a temp position but I saw workers with educations and talents tossed aside when the projects were through. There was hardly any scouting for potential futures within the temp pool."

"Pay scale. Hey, I was in college. Grunt work but a fun place to work."

"Beward cheap managers profiting off your toil. Video game-playing is not a benefit."

What don't you like about working at Activision?

"Low compensation, uncompensated overtime required (about 20 hours per week), no benefits, then, after success of first generation video game, didn't give long overdue raises nor benefits to programmers, instead brought in inexperienced Software Engineering Manager with benefits"

"Take care of your own software engineers before moonlighting as President of Southern Califonria Association of Software Engineers"
