"As with any interview, research the company and the division in which your applying for. Each side of this company is very proud of what they do."

"Since going public, the culture seems to be suffering, I can only hope the new management keeps that in mind."

"Remember what made this company successful. Alot of companies have realized its their people that make it great, hindering their enthusiasm and culture could damage that."

"Great Customers are helping the world become a more active place, Leadership however talks about transparency but doesn't practice it. Sales Plans change quarterly and it always feels like a moving target. Co-Workers are the reason many people stay with this company."

Currently, the San Diego office is in transition with many of the employees leaving for other opportunities. This makes the work environment very difficult as many functional areas are under staffed and are hampered at their ability to execute."

This change, the number of acquisitions, the number of products, the cost to the business to run and support the products has its stresses on the bottom line. A strong plan of how to move forward is possible and Active.com has many great potentials, but ..."

"For experienced reps, be sure to fully understand job expectations as the company is shuffling their sales teams to encourage young, in-experienced reps to sign on so that commissions, salaries can be capped"

"Too big/corporate, strict roles that stifle new ideas, limited growth opportunities"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Train and mentor managers so that account management and executives are given guidance to be successful rather than assigning junior reps that 'learn on the job' and micro-manage, discourage inidividuality"

"I'm currently working for Active Network in a position being deprecated. My exact scenario is not indicative of the company."

"Underpaid but a great place to work. They tried to make too many chances which I believe took them away from their roots. They have since then made even more changes that resolved in out sourcing to other countries. For me it just came down to an extremely heavy workload for way too little reward. This was also just my teams which have now also been outsourced. Other teams and offices in California seemed to be much better compensated."
