"A good platform for beginners, who wants to learn and grow."

What do you like about working at ACS Healthcare Solutions?

"what do you like about working at ACSI joined ACS in Dec 2008, as a full-time employee after resigning from IBM. The decision from resigning from IBM was tough, but the circumstances were like that where I had to take this step. I had to grow towards managerial skills where in IBM I was not able to find this kind of environment with remote teams and remote locations of managers. Anyways, I joined ACS and was happy to join even at a lesser package as I got a team of five consultants under me. I had to technically lead the team, and thus it gave me an hope to grow my technical as well as managerial skills. The best part of working at ACS was the freedom of thoughts and ideas. It provided me a wonderful where each consultant was an expert in their fields and they were used to bring new ideas and new technical points freely. This grew me a lot from technical point of view. Another best part with ACS was that my work and my inputs were recognized, which were lacking in IBM. I liked ACS's employee friendliness nature and it is a company where you can to retire. They have beautiful plans for retirement, Health Insurance etc. So overall I liked this company and would recommend others to join it."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Which having an interview with htis copamy , study hard as they have really techy guys. Study all the latest technologies of Java that may include Struts, EJB, JMS, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, PLSQL, AJAX. They also take a written exam, which may include writing a program on paper. Also prepare yourself for bug finiding expertise in exisiting programs. Theire legacy application is residing on Mainframe, so some knowledge of JMS and MQ-Series would be beneficial."

What don't you like about working at ACS Healthcare Solutions?

"There are certainly some bad things too, which I did not like about ACS. Before joining I thought to get a similar kind of environment which I got at IBM, where I can balance my work and life equally but this company gave me so much to do, that I had to forget my personal life to some extent. They stole my leisure time from me. they stole my time which I used to waste in parties and pubs during weekends. I think they needed more resources and ultimately I was working for those extra resources which were not hired and companies money was saved. I thought that I would be paid extra for those extra hours, but it did not happen. So this company is little calculative in monetary terms. Hence if you have dreams to earn big, then this is not a right place for you. But definitely it can prepare a platform for you where you grow for that level where you can earn big bucks in bigger organizations."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I have a suggestion for management that they should understand that ultimately every person is working for money and that's the basic thing which everyone needs. They should recognize the real hard work and real talent and if they want to grow more , such kind of talent should be kept happy in all terms (specially monetary terms)"
