"I worked for Acquity Group since 2009. I found the work challenging and exciting, since I was given opportunities to build software that was used by millions of people. The projects do tend to be disorganized and stressful, however, given that they are usually managed by business analysts rather than experienced software professionals."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do not believe anything they try to sell you about the company culture. Everything they say about a happy productive company culture is false. They expect you to work over 50 hours a week and I quote, Do not encourage resources to self-determine what to do when they have extra time available."
What don't you like about working at Acquity Group?
"The company is run by very dysfunctional people with no 'people skills' and that have absolutely no interest in their employees or job satisfaction. That would not be so unusual, except that management actually goes out of its way not to commend employees, but to degrade them in public and in private."

"Send every single manager in your company to leadership training. Then send the CEO!"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you are creatively inclined you will not be happy here. But if you just want a decent gig with a nice company that pays well, and you don't really give a sh*t about who you work with, you will fit right in."
What don't you like about working at Acquity Group?
"Complete lack of commaraderie. Total lack of interest in fellow employees. No team spirit or cohesion. No team leadership from those supposedly in charge."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Reconsider your upper mgmt. of the West Coast. You have lost your best people from the L.A. office (and probably from Irvine as well). But you probably don't recognize this as you have other decent employees who have stayed on. However, they are not your highest achievers or the people that could have really made the L.A. office something special. They are gone and I see frustration in the eyes and words of the interesting employees that have remained or the smarter new hires."
