"Great people. Very tough problems. A generally successful company. New building."

"Walk the halls to make sure you will enjoy being in a high walled cubes."

What don't you like about working at ACI Worldwide?

"Process and culture. Lost innovation edge. Banks are not very forward thinking in terms of technology."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Either shrink the AD side and become a marketing shell or invest in better processes."

"They care more about processes than customers... Agile, they are NOT."

What do you like about working at ACI Worldwide?

"They let me work from home (but only because the shut down our office). I don't like working for them much, other than that. And you probably won't have this option, unless they take over your company and shut down your office."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Personally, I wouldn't bother... but if you do, you should be prepared to do a lot of extra work, just so you can complete the checklists for the Application Development department. And you can just laugh when they talk about agile development, nothing agile about this process (take a look at the Agile Manifesto - this AD group is NONE of that)."

What don't you like about working at ACI Worldwide?

"At least in Application Development, they are so concerned with the processes that they have lost sight of the customers. They took over our company earlier in the year, and they are systematically losing all the customers that we had as the other company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get a CLUE! Services is a viable money maker when you charge $250 an hour! ACI should try to take advantage of money on the table, without pissing off the customers (like doubling & tripling the cost of services projects and taking forever to do estimates because of the weighty processes). Also, how stupid is it to have an Applications Development Project Manager, and Project Management Project Manager... AND the entire client services development group (and QA) in the US, but the AD/PM in India Way to slow things to a crawl!"

"Short hours, nice co workers, easy parking, on site gym and lunch cafe"

"If you like a slow moving, traditional company struggling to be modern, then go for it."

What don't you like about working at ACI Worldwide?

"No input on strategy. No opportunity for advancement. Just a cog."

"Not really sure what I would do differently since I have no insight into CEO now."

"Just be strong in technical and know a about banking domain"

"No recognition for the work done and no growth opportunities"

"Recognize the effort put in and provide growth opportunities with a good work environment"

"Terrible tools make work painful, work process is convoluted and inefficient, company tends to promote bad managers."

"Everything. It is one of the best places I have ever worked. If your current IT department is divided into sub groups of responsibility you will thrive in this environment."

"Very sharp IT management. Prepare and focus to be asked everything in detail about the job."

"Great management team no suggestions. This company excels in everything it does because of the great leadership"
