"I have contributed with this company from 2019 throw university of Malaya and design non-structural concrete with waste materials and have done so many different tests on them. I have casted so many concrete and replace the waste materials as aggregate and cement. It was a nice experience for me and figured out so many new experiences."

"I would recommend that they continue looking for another organization to work for."

"I am not happy with immediate management of the company."

"Need to have strong finance background to be successful and be very willing to embrace the culture and carefully attempt to assist as a change agent."

What don't you like about working at ACE Group?

"no opportunity for growth unless moving to Philadelphia. Very little movement in the facility and hiring much less experienced personell to accomodate for a maturing workforce. Not taking advantage of the experience and intergrating the new with the old very well."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Use Lean Principles to enhance work flows and increase productivity. Create a more autonomous environment that brings experience together with new personnel"

"Knowing that my peers also managed the demands made the job tolerable."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The pasture is not greenere there. Matter of fact its fairly brown. Dont bother even tho the compensation is farly decent. Most people were employed 3-5 years and either left on own from burn out or were terminated for failing to stay ontop of workloads."

What don't you like about working at ACE Group?

"The workload was unfairly balanced between offices. I believe I was ultimately setup to fail. While I was not terminated and received goods reviews, I was ultimately laidoff due to upper managements personal dislike."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Eliminate the cut throat culture and intimidation tactics especially when brokers were present."

What do you like about working at ACE Group?

"The relative stability of the company though this is mostly driven by the industry in which we operate."

"This company values discipline in most functions from marketing to accounting and most importnantly in underwriting."

What don't you like about working at ACE Group?

"The shortest amount of vacation time of any company that I am familiar with. In addition, there is a terrible bonus program that makes it difficult to reward individual or team successes due to its division level allocation practice."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make employees feel valued. I think the entire workforce below VP level fels like a cog in the machine to a greater degree than anywhere I've worked. In addition, review the HR / benefits policies as they compare to other companies. All things being equal, this is not helping you to attract and/or retain top talent."

"I like the earning potential and job opportunity working at Ace Insurance."

"I would advice that they show management that they are interested in Insurance."

"I find the work mundane and I am not interested in Insurance."

"I would give my employees creative freedom and would not micro manage them."

"Extremely poor management at the AVP and VP level. Micromanagers who substitutte politics for true leadership."

"They will not listen to any suggestions at this point."

"Not getting promoted fast enough.I was eager to move too fast at that age."

"As only recruiter not located in Home Office (Philadelphia) often was up for meetings at 4:00 - 4:30 am pacific time."
