"The structure of this company does not allow management to be successful. Layers of approval should be there as a sanity check - not to second guess and destroy strategies. The DNA of this company is 'be risk averse'. The few true leaders stay for a few years and leave."

"Remy was once the world's largest manufacturer of automotive electrical components. The working conditions were excellent as was the pay. The best thing about Delco Remy were the people I worked with."

"The company was folded into DelphI and then all operations in Anderson, Indiana were phased out. Thousands of jobs were lost and a community has been devastated."

"Became a cookie cutter engineering environment which was filled with procedures, checklists and forms. Business seemed to focus more on the forms and procedures than on engineering principles."
