"Be forthright and honest. Do not sell yourself just to get the job; sell yourself on your capabilities and your very best accomplishments within the field your applying for."

"The distance of the commute. It was approximately two hours to work and more getting back home. I really did enjoy it anyway, and actually looked foreward to doing it on a daily basis for over seven years."

"Try to negotiate on salary - they will lowball you if you let them."
What don't you like about working at Bradco Supply?
"I did not like the management style of the owners of the company. One owner in particular was a big micro-manager, difficult to get along with...Benefits were not the best, forget about a good paid time off benefit."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Allow for more paid time off for employees to deal with their personal lives. Let vacation time accrue from the start date rather than not having ANY time until one year anniversary. Also, increase vacation time from one week to two weeks. Need more sick/personal and possibly a few floating holidays. Provide vision and dental insurance. Treat the employees better overall..."
