What do you like about working at Wesco Distribution?
"They were very flexible with my school hrs and when I needed to attend Dr. apts or apts. with my children. Easy going work place, no hassle. Great people I worked with. Able to learn more as I went."

"Need to be able to handle multiple task and constant phone calls and interruptions and still get the work done."
What don't you like about working at Wesco Distribution?
"The pay was not so good for all the work required. Very little room for growth."

"need to pay more for the work expected."

"Since this was a job placement company, they actively provided me with a postion that I could learn from as well as use my past experience."

"If they were still in business, I would tell someone coming to make sure to keep full contact with management. Their position would be a much less stressful and fullfilling if they did."

"What I do not like is that they had to move all the accounting up to Federal way Washington. It would been nice to keep us all in Portland, OR"

"The managers don't take the time to learn what their employees do and it costs them because of this"

"I was left to my own devices to get my work done. I liked the sense of responsibility and not having someone looking over my shoulder. There was a good level of trust from my immediate manager"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The company is a lot like a High School. If you're good at getting along with people and enjoy nonstop gossip, things can probably work out for you if you play it smart."
What don't you like about working at Lindenmeyr?
"Anyone outside of the small Credit/AR/AP group had no idea what we did and in my opinion, undervalued us. It's hard to critique something that you don't know anything about. Unfortunately, this is what they did to us and in particular, me."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Look into what your employees do, and I mean beyond what account management and sales are up to. Every person from the filing clerks, to the switchboards, to the CEO have important roles. To be in management, you should be familiar with each, at least to some extent."
