"I've been with Access Data Consulting for over a year now. They were very diligent in following the client's hiring and screening process. My account manager has been proactive in requesting and negotiating multiple extensions to my contract."

"I worked here and loved it."
"Very good experience as a new contractor."
"AccessData was a great learning experience for me.While sales remains a simple concept, selling AccessData products was more challenging than it had to be because of internal issues."
"The upper management had poor management skills and torpedoed several product releases because of this. The fellow developers were generally quite good and nice to work with. The benefits are really poor and very little incentive bonuses."
"The company tries to provide as good benefits for its employees as its small size allows, and organizes fun events for employees and their families."

What do you like about working at Access Data Consulting?
"Intersting problems to solve. Managment so afraid of losing me they leave me alone."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"No, I really don't. And, because you require minimum, no."
What don't you like about working at Access Data Consulting?
"Lack of vision, product definition, direction, or anything resembling a clue. High expectations with 0 accountability. All product requirements can be summed up as 'I want something, but I don't know what. Even when requirements are spelled out there will always be someone trying to change the requirements after development is finished.Development is always blamed when salesmen lie. Sales gets the credit when dev saves their lying asses.Empty promises of bonuses and proffit sharing."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I want to say quit, but I will be constuctive instead. Stop trying to come up your own solutions, your solutions are bad. Requirements definitions should be along the lines of 'we need to see x data collected from y source with z requirements for verification.' Then let the trained engineers decide how to solve it. If you want to be included in the design process, great! But, without the high level view of the requirements it will ALWAYS be impossible to give you what you want."
