"I've worked since 2012 in DEVOPS initiative, working with a global team. Accenture's team is good, with extraordinary fellows and poor ones. Unfortunately the meritocracy is not always the major point for promotion. The methodology and tools are great being a great valor to attend clients around the world."

"Some projects don't allow much work/life balance even though they talk about it so much in the orientation. Worked a lot of weekends during my year here. I was paid overtime though. They hired me as a Software Engineer but I have not touched a single line of code yet. You will be able to do different things which is good and bad. Although I'm not getting to program, I am learning other things such as SOAP UI and SQL Developer."

"There are several different technologies being utilized within various projects."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The company as a whole seems good but this doesn't account for the projects that you get staffed on. Been on several projects where the majority of my team was contracted out from various companies. So do not expect to just be working with Accenture folks."

What don't you like about working at Accenture?

"Seems very political, you get placed on projects that are not a good match, keep you on the project even through the leads see you struggling or hate the work."

"Everything about Accenture was great. I enjoyed my work there."

"For freshers, prepare well for the Aptitude, C programming and be confident. Just the basic things."

"The allocation of resources to various streams was completely random, not based on interest and proficiency of the employee."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To allocate freshers into streams after knowing their interests and inquire about any previous understanding about various software skills."

"I liked the atmosphere and infrastructure."

What don't you like about working at Accenture?

"I don't like management of the company.There are not many benefits also."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There is a lot of politics going on in the company. Managers have full control over the project and they can do whatever they desire.This is not right."
