"Ability to move around in the company is political. Also in most ad agencies in Chicago, if you work nights and weekends to finish a project by the deadline, you are rewarded with some time off. At AbelsonTaylor, they will work you till midnight, yet still expect you to come in at 9am. No extra time off. No extra pay. Many have left for this reason, including managers.They do try to charm you by $1 catered lunches on Fridays, free health exams, and free tickets to the Art Museum."
