"This Bio Energy plant had good people working for them, but gave us little resources, and support to do our job adequately. We got paid for 40 hours a week, but worked, sometimes 65. There was 1400 people on site, only 7 people in our safety department to conduct site orientations, daily audits, weekly contractor safety and commissioning meetings. Training, lock out tag out, writing permits for safe work, hot work, and confined space. also incidents, RCA, OCIP, it was challenging."
