"I briefly worked for the American Advisors Group (AAG). They are a leading reverse mortgage lender and they are an excellent company for reverse mortgage training. They have 1000+ employees and they have locations throughout the US."
"Great work culture and robost environment"
"I've found AAG to be a customer service oriented company. They have over 1200 employees and everyone from start to finish did a great job in helping me accomplish my goals."
"I’ve worked at AAG since 2019 and the company itself is amazing. We cater and serve to the senior community in hopes of providing a better retirement through a reverse mortgage. Our company does an awesome job facilitating the needs of its 1500 employees with an awesome HR staff that provides many resources to cater our employees. Overall, this company is a perfect starting ground to start a career in reverse mortgage."
"Agg is a very good company who caters to seniors, this company is so awesome when it comes to caring about the borrowers well being. Underwriters volunteer to help seniors out. They allow us 2 hours free to sign up and help the seniors."
"Great to be working here. Work life balance And carriers advancement are good."
"No comment it is an okay place to work if you do reverse mortgages"
"Great company with amazing work environment"
"Great leads and support behind me! I do much better here than at my previous employer. AAG spends millions of dollars on advertising and the product is also good, so it's not hard selling at all. Even the New York Times and USA today dropped articles in 2016 saying unequivocally that a reverse mortgage can be the perfect solution for some people. It's not the wild west anymore and it helps me make more money."
"I've worked here for around 5 years, and it has been an overall positive experience. It took me a while to find what I wanted to do with my career, but once I did and told my managers, they were supportive and did what they could to help me achieve those goals by giving me work more relevant to that field. My co-workers are supportive and helpful if you go to them for assistance, so it's clear that managers pay attention to personality when hiring."
"Great company. Would love to see better medical and dental but otherwise I love it."
"I've been with AAG for a little over half a year. Everyone has been really great, from my coworkers to the management team. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this organization because this is the opposite of what I came from previously. You are encouraged to blaze your own trail, but to also take the time out to smell the flowers, as it were. Your work-life balance is very important."
"Benefits are not competitive to the market. Salary is not comprehensive to the market."
"I started with AAG when they only had 50 people. They have continued to grow the company but without the heart that they started with. As you grow it's understood that the corporate vibe will begin but it's important that you keep that human touch. Once it becomes all numbers and people are things the company starts to lose."
