"What I love is the creative challenge, not knowing exactly what I will be doing tomorrow. What I don't like is when we run into technical hurdles. I also don't like when there is not a lull between projects."

"Freedom outside of work. Comfort levels at work. Game development is entertaining."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"IF you have side projects, are thick skinned, and enjoy game development, you'll fit right in."
What don't you like about working at Gas Powered Games?
"We rush to building art assets before a game design is fun, wasting money and time on art we just throw away."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would probably fail to keep the business side afloat, but amazingly fun games would be made until we closed..."

"I liked the environment as well as what we were doing."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be confident in what you do somebody out there will eventually notice your talent."
What don't you like about working at Hunger Interactive?
"I did not like the fact that the company did not work out."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My best suggestion would be have faith in those that are less experienced but more than capable of doing the job"
What do you like about working at Sealund & Associates?
"The people were great to work with. But I mostly enjoyed working on the projects and seeing the final piece in action."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Show them you are eager to educate others through design and animation and enter the interview with confidence in yourself and your work."
What don't you like about working at Sealund & Associates?
"I contracted there at night and the buildings AC would shut off to conserve energy. So the heat from many people and computers was not too delightful."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Desk fans. I would say a to start a render farm because me and the other contractors would complete several animations a week and the rendering would sometimes have to be done on computers we would have to work on slowing down the machine."
What do you like about working at Knott Laboratory?
"The work was challenging and enjoyable. Most of the workers at Knott Laboratory were knowledgeable and easy to collaborate with on projects."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Buyer beware. Though Knott Laboratory is a nationally recognized forensic engineering and animation company, they do not value employee happiness or growth. This is not the place that anyone will retire from as 25 employees have come and gone in the last 4 years. They are a small company of less than 20 employees at the time of this writing."
What don't you like about working at Knott Laboratory?
"One employee often made inappropriate remarks about other workers while they were not present, and would often ridicule and intimidate workers on projects where he made mistakes. Passing the blame downhill was common practice at Knott Laboratory and upper management had no accountability for their actions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There needs to be an understanding at the management level that ethical conduct, fairness, and an understanding of employee concerns should not be taken likely."
What don't you like about working at Curious Pictures?
"When we don't have any kind of work during the work time we did not get paid."

"would have been a lifer there, but due to the economy I was laid off and personaly feel that they are not set in the proper direction for this hard market"

"poor corprate planning, speading systems to thin and burning out with the bad economy."

"focus on core services, the money makers, keep your long time workers they are the company."
