"If you decide to work for 24 Data, Inc. you can expect the following as an employee: Zero PTO in the first YEAR of employment Zero Sick Days in the first YEAR of employment 5 days of UNPAID PTO (they try to limit how many unpaid days you get too) 6 company holidays which include the following: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day If one of the above holidays lands on a weekend, you WILL NOT be observing it on a Monday or Friday and you WILL NOT be paid for it If you are within your first 3 months of employment you WILL NOT be paid for any holidays that fall within that 3 months The medical insurance is awful (high deductible and low benefits) and you will be paying at the very least about $65 - $70 per WEEK for it You will be expected to provide ALL your own computer/phone/UPS backup hardware yourself at your own cost You will NOT be reimbursed for any hardware costs even if you only use it for work purposes You will be expected to sign in to Slack 10 minutes before you actually clock into work You will not be provided ANY type of flexibility of your schedule You will receive video calls to check in on you to see if you are wearing business attire You will receive random phone calls and hang-ups so upper management can check to see if you are at your desk You do not have the ability to take an hour off for a doctor's appointment (you will be required to take a half day without pay) If you are salaried, you will be REQUIRED to work 50+ hours per week If you are salaried, you will be told in your interview that overtime rarely happens, but you can expect to work overtime constantly And because they expect you to work overtime, you will not be appreciated for it You can expect to have ZERO work/life balance Your family/health/mental well-being/general happiness is NOT a consideration"
