"It was a good experience. I was able to travel, learn new skills and tactics, and most of all serve the country and feel important. Meet a lot of different people and learn from their ways and culture. It was like a big family protecting each other. I was able to go overseas and see things in a different perspective and learn a variety of languages and culture. I was at least able to gain experience and always say I did it, was the first in my family to join the force and be very productive."

"Working as an electronics technician in the army is hard work. Long hours and urgent deadlines can weigh heavily on you. The best part was my team and supervisors. We worked well together and accomplished what needed to be done with sub par support from other sections and leadership."

"The Army was great until they started cutting everything. By the end of 2012 married soldiers had to pay out of pocket for meals while we were in the field training. Most of the time we did not get to eat but we still had to pay anyway."
