"If a career in the military is something you enjoy it has many great benefits. Prior to entering take a close look at what you are agreeing to because the only guarantees are what is written in the contract."
What don't you like about working at United States Army?
"The hardest part of my job was the military aspect of it. Deployments could come at the drop of a hat. Basic soldiering tasks would often interfere with the mission of caring for the patients. At times the integrity of senior leadership was very questionable."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would recommend that senior leadership be better trained for handling the complexities of the roles they assume. I would also recommend a psychological profile for anyone who wants to enter into leadership so that it can be determined if they can handle the stresses of the job."
