"There's always going to be pro's and con's about working in any company. The only thing that I don't like is that I'm stationed in NC and being in the military you will never know where you're going to be next year."

"Earn their respect, and respect them so the people can respect your authority."

"It's not all its cracked up to be. Do your research before you sign up for the army."

"The senior officers tend to use their rank and position to railroad any changes."

"Listen to junior officers and their recommendations on what they would do better."

"I was able to meet a lot of interesting people. I loved going to work and seeking out new adventures. I also loved the work load that I was given. Though at times it was a lot to do, but overall I loved it."

"It's not a hard job to do. Just get there on time and do what you have to do and stay out of trouble."

What don't you like about working at United States Army?

"The only thing I can say is that I wish I knew what my hours were going to be. But on the other hand it is a demanding job and someone has to do it."

"All of the work given to me was well put and directed. All I can say is that I would give more time to complete the assignment given."

"The location. I'm not a fan of the Fayetteville, NC area."

"Promotion system could sometimes be biased and was easily manipulated by those who knew how to do so."

"Getting up before 6 am to do physical fitness training 3 or more days a week."

"Needed more people to get the jobs done most of the time. Computers could not analyze and interpret everything a person can."

"Don't become like my unit, have mandatory EO classes for everyone."

"The resources available were more than sufficient to perform and the training was ongoing for my entire enlistment. I was able to really shine in this environment and it opened doors I would not have even known existed. Coming from a small town, the Army helped me to understand how to associate with people from many backgrounds."

"Join the Army and learn as much as you can. It's a good experience. Choose an Intelligence job!"

What don't you like about working at United States Army?

"Army politics did not always favor true skill and a motivated work ethic. It was not always easy to watch the advancement of those who did not deserve it. I advanced because I was a good analyst and soldier, but those I knew who were only good analysts did not."

"Stand up for your soldiers and support them. Work hard when you're at work. Care about the mission. Make every decision count for something productive."
