"I didn't like the feeling of being pushed/pulled. We worked for the Navy and some within the Navy felt it was their place to task direct and force policy."

"I liked my boss. I don't know that I would have any words of wisdom."

"Implementing logistics processes and procedures for DOD contract."

"One DOD contract, which at completion was the only work available; coordination through HR for additional projects."

"I doubt you'll find better, more competent people. Management is downright compassionate about people -- from their superstars to those struggling through the day."

What don't you like about working at SAIC?

"While Beyster ran the company, it was still a t-shirt and jeans kind of place. Now that they're competing with IBM, they even dress the part."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They've let the genie out of the bottle, there's no way to become employee-owned again."

"Very interesting projects, but you have to scramble to be on project teams. Expect to move to Maclean VA, or San Diego to advance"

"This is a good company to work for because the work is usually cutting edge."

"Hiring managers will be looking for very specific skills for a current project."

"When a project ends, it is often difficult to connect with the next project, especially in New England, where SAIC does not have a large presence."

"When an employee tells you they need help and want to use the EAP help them."

"I was a contractor there so I do not know about their benefits. I found it a great place to work, very fast paced environment."
