Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you need the money to pay the bills and get health insurance and you are desperate, then work at KP. But if you have options, run as far away from this organization as you possibly can. KP is all about relationships and politics and who you know and how well you brown-nose with the higher-ups. It's not about how skilled or how good you are at what you do."

What don't you like about working at Kaiser Permanente?

"Considering Kaiser Permanente is in the healthcare industry, I find it odd that of all my employers, I have never felt my healthcare privacy was violated and invaded until I worked at Kaiser. In addition, my safety as an employee when I filed a complaint against a senior manager who intimidated and harassed me and had me followed by one of his staff - was never addressed and fell on deaf ears because the offender is a senior manager. Another time I had an employee spit right in front of me and barely missed me and another manager just ignored the report I brought to her attention."
