"Nothing. I had no raises for 5 years at HP before I was eventually laid off after training my replacement in India."

"Only unless you want to have a big name company on your resume, don't work there. They will chew you up, suck you dry and spit you out like so much cheap chewing gum. There is no loyalty."

What don't you like about working at Hewlett-Packard?

"Everything. The management as it exists today is focused on numbers and could care less about the true driving force of the company - its employees. It's NOTHING like it was when I came on board in 1998."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Gut all you have put in place, and bring back those that actually follow the tried and true Bill-and-Dave management style."

"Poor management. Too many managers, directors, top execs taking in all the money and laying everyone else off. Expecting who is left to do 4 people's jobs."

"Lay management off and start over by using competent people who do the work."

"Nothing now. It was a great place to work back about 10 years ago. Now it is all about the upper management getting their bonuses."

"Take care of the eyes and ears of the company. Don't keep taking away things that we need to help grow the company."

"Job Security has always been a concern. I have always seen HP employees in a lot of stress - the reason is lots of mergers which creates a difficult work environment."

"Make sure you only sign-up for a revenue generating - mission critical position, otherwise you will always be in fear of loosing your job without warning."

"They treat their employees like a piece of furniture. When they are done using you, they place you on the curb and you are on your own."

"Decrease your obscene bonuses, return your employees pay to pre-reduction levels. You aren't fooling anyone. We all know what you make, so stop pretending you are in the same boat as the rest of us."
