"Value the contract worker more. I brought a lot to the table and was key in getting Ford certified to sell vehicles in China."

"Nothing much other than the work, life balance. Often times I get wrapped up in work and my family suffers."

"The behind the scenes politics in management. If you went from hourly to salary and did not have someone in management that could grandfather you into salary, the job was difficult to learn."

"Things are starting to get better. A lot of the behind the scenes politics are being eliminated, but it still seems that in order to get a salary position you have to know someone."

"Make sure you ask the manager what they expect of you and tell them what you expect from them."

"My boss did not let me do my job. Even though I had years of experience and won many awards for doing my job, He always had to micro manage me."

"To let people do the jobs they were paid to do and support and mentor them when needed. People need to be able to function without someone always looking over their shoulder and tell them step by step what to do."
