"Management is required to work an entire year over nite."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Sr. managemtent should re-consider reducing the over nite shift to six months."

"I've worked in Walmart since 1998 till 2013. My starting salary was $7.96 and it raised to 17.69."

"I've worked for this distribution center for over 13 years. They've treated me well. The pay is competitive, starting at over $16 an hour. I'm in maintenance and make over $21 an hour. The team I work with is awesome. We work together as one. I know at the store level it's terrible, but not at the DC."

"It was a temporary (seasonal) position I took for only 45 days - but I wound up staying there about 6 months."

"Good for an entry-level person starting a new job. You learn a lot here."

"Nothing bad about this job at all."

"A well organized business and they do a great job. I was happy there."

"More automation for some of the different departments to try and make things better"

"like the people and get to help people with shopping needs, talk to people, and build creative displays"

"just fill out the information to the best of your knowledge and you will do fine"

"not enough pay and hrs and sometimes we often run out of things too quickly and they take awhile to come in"

"pay more close to inventory levels and listen more to employees"

"I couldn't find much I didn't like about working for Wal-Mart. They offered many wonderful benefits to their workers."

"The only suggestions I have, would be to share all you can with new workers. The more they know, the better and more work will be done."

"Be positive, highly motivated, hard worker; and the company will provide the opportunity for you to grow with it."

"Working numerous weekends; night shift to day shift, holidays. Being called in by the Home Office due to a freezer being stuck in defrost mode, triggering alarms to no avail."

"Continue the teaching and training methods that I was introduced to. This philosophy empowers associates to buy into the promotion opportunities that the company extolls."

"I am working in walmart for almost 2 years as a part time associate as this job is very near to my home and I can manage doing this job as well as continue my study. It is a very amicable place for any worker, the work is challenging and demanding and needs constant care towards the customer. Overall it is a good experience."
