"I worked for Tuft University as a data analyst for a year. Overall it was a good experience. The team that I worked with was very supportive. Additionally, HR is very friendly and helpful."
"Tufts University was a fine academic setting, but I am leaving their psychology PhD program because it was not a good fit for me."
"Upon joining the university, the culture, work and management were good in the Finance department. The morale was high and there were good plans to change how budget and financial planning was managed in higher-ed. After a couple of years there was a change in management and with the new management came a change from a collegial environment to caustic, dictatorial, and command-and-control. The department experienced significant attrition and continued to for the past two years. People were forced out, probably against HR and employment policy, but bullying was the MO of this so-called leader. Meanwhile the demands on the staff continue to increase and grow without recognition or compensation. I do not recommend."
"I have been working at Tufts University since 2013. Tufts is private university with three different campuses located in Boston, Medford/Somerville and Grafton, Mass, and one in Talloires, France. The institution employs around 4526 people which includes faculty and staff. Overall, Tufts University is a leader in American higher education, distinctive for its success as a moderately sized university that excels at research and is committed to providing students with a personal experience. Tufts is a blend of both a research university and a liberal arts college, a unique combination that attracts students, faculty and staff who thrive in our environment of curiosity, creativity and engagement."
"I've worked for Tufts University since 2012 as a teaching assistant. I found teaching very rewarding. However, deep down in my heart I've always had a passion for programming and developing new software and apps, which allows me to exercise my creativity."
"Been at Tufts for over 5 years. Past year has been very hard as I had another job to handle on top of mine. Still maintain high level of service and completion."
