"I would call the environment as Attila the Hun school of management."

"When you start caring more about your people than just looking good to upper management, more people will be happy and EVERYONE will be more productive."

"I only worked as an Intern so I don't have much insight into the comp package. Everyone there was really intelligent."

"Disbanding new research group."

"I worked there as a contract consultant and was not an employee - but I would have loved to have stayed, but the timing for me was not good. In late 2000 the dot com bubble burst and with it came a hiring freeze at Seagate."

"If you get in - I doubt you will ever want to leave."

What don't you like about working at Seagate?

"Not much not to like. Scotts Valley, California is the location of their world-wide corporate headquarters and the campus was a thrill to work at - redwoods right out your window - and a gourmet restaurant... Yumm..."

"Good management, lots of freedom, rewarding to be part of true engineering success."

"Very technical work and high stress environment."

What don't you like about working at Seagate?

"Limited career growth potential and limited future."

"I was well treated. A big plus for me was that the job was close to my children in Rochester MN so I could commute."

"Seagate has been bought and sold since my tenure there. It's a whole new ball game."

What don't you like about working at Seagate?

"The company was very cost conscious, always watching the dollar, cheap even. Would pare staff by the quarter if profits fell. Not much security. Some managers were capricious which created some stress in the ranks."

"Professional work environment, all sectors of HR worked together to be responsive to VP, Director, Manager needs."

"Be prepared for an extensive interviewing process, but your efforts will be rewarded whether you are successful in employment or not."

"Provide a great work environment including opportunity for employee growth and development as well as working with employees to establish commitments, time lines for commitment completion, and providing constructive feedback to employees as to their performance."

"Interaction among project managers is outstanding. Motivated people with great ideas."

"Review back channel information LinkedIn, etc., on all those you are to speak to."

"Older distribution business model. dose not allow for new revenue opportunities."

"It's total revenue not just total drives sold."
