"I have worked with Seagate in an consulting capacity on one of the very challenging internal initiative. Because of the remote working nature of the assignment I cannot talk much about the work environment and the facilities. But they have global teams spread across many continents and sometimes that becomes quite challenging in terms of work/life balance. Other than that it is a professionally managed company."

What do you like about working at Seagate?

"The group I worked were highly competent. We were doing front end research. We were the first to evaluate and integrate high areal density head media and preamplifier components."

"It's a high technology company. They have gone to perpendicular recording."

What don't you like about working at Seagate?

"I see the Techonlogy getting replaced by flash."

"The management was complete hands off. They need to get involved more. They need to give more outside training."
