"I've only work there since March and I like what I see and about to see and experience so far and looking forward hopefully to work many many years for SAIC."

"Be flexible, creative and bold in what you want without being offending."

What don't you like about working at SAIC?

"So far, nothing."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Continue to remind those that work on client site of opportunities within the company. Since contracts do fall by the wayside due to the effects of the economy or customer cutback requirements, it is important to do reminders consistently."

"They are a for-profit company and like any big corporation will do what they need to in order to get there and get top executives fat bonuses. The people on the front lines who make it happen are plu- replaceable robots as far as upper management is concerned"

What don't you like about working at SAIC?

"Hypocrisy. Management postures all the time about ethics but put extreme pressure on technical staff and their managers to pad billable hours on government projects. Meanwhile, company efficiency and profitability sucked away by layers of non-productive corporate types who mainly get in the way."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Funny how it being an employee owned company was such a big deal until the company founders started reaching retirement age. The being a public company became a big deal and all the stock sold to employees turned out to have been wildly over-priced."

"When my utilization ended, I was given a 2-week severance. Internal opportunities were limited outside of Washington, DC area."

"Continue to negotiate remote opportunities and more work outside of Washington, DC."
