"Be cautious and ask the manager what their management style is; many managers are insecure and feel the need to micromanage even experienced people because they have a lack of trust."

What don't you like about working at Novartis Pharmaceuticals?

"The company fostered a company attitude of bullying allowing managers to use excuses to force out people who have been with the company for awhile. One manager bullied everyone in our district and only one person ended up remaining."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"1) Foster a company culture that ACTUALLY believes in work/life balance (the manager stated the company didn't and just said it did pushing his reps to do 4 dinner programs a month). 2) Senior management made incompetent decisions about which products to promote. 3) Change the corporate culture--it's no only transparent and no longer a place where people don't blame."
